Michael Leon

Michael Leon has a new website, Michael Leon Studio Dot Com. Growing up skateboarding I have always been inspired by his creativity and originality as a designer and artist.  He’s got a pretty impressive and diverse body of works so be sure to check out his stuff.  If you want some more on Michael, check out this video made by John Trippe of Fecal Face.

I recently came across this video, and seeing as how I really like Tom Waits and I really like custom type I figured I’d post it on the blog. It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything on here.

I also just found out about this amazing online service called GrooveShark - such a cheesy name but an awesome service. Basically you can find (almost) any song you’re thinking of instantly and add them into a playlist on the fly that will be saved under your account name if you ever want to listen to it again.  You can also search other peoples playlists, search artists and listen to all the songs that are available from them, so forth and so on.

Yawners

I recently came across a brilliant set of photography & photoshop artwork from Peter Funch that has such great concept and execution!  I wonder how he did them.  I was thinking maybe he set up a tripod in one location for a week straight, taking photos when they fit into the theme, then merged them together?

Check it out.
